Amelia Bate
Amelia is a lively and slightly eccentric London-based writer, editor and online content manager. Raised in the beautiful Peak District, she is equally fond of land and cityscapes and has a passion for globetrotting. The last few years have seen her teaching classes of 45 unruly Nepali kids, dancing in front of 300 people at a Hindu wedding, bathing and riding elephants, trekking in the Himalayas, driving across the Tibetan plateau, diving in Fiji, and getting stuck in a Caribbean hurricane, lost in the back streets of Lhasa and stranded in various foreign locations.
Amelia’s equally happy exploring her local area or at home with a good book and drinking (endless) cups of tea accompanied by chocolate hobnobs. She currently works in digital marketing and has been writing since a young age on subjects including business development, careers, education, diversity issues, marketing communications and travel. She lives with two pilots in West London.
