The Driver is testament to how much King's Cross has come up in the world, helping cast off the area's unsavoury reputation. This stylish pub/bar is open seven days a week, attracting a diverse clientele of locals and workers by day and party-goers by night. Comfy sofas, flowery wall-paper, large brass mirrors, wooden tables, a fireplace and chandeliers give it a relaxed, living room feel. A daily changing menu featuring global cuisine and traditional pub fare ensures there’s something for every taste, and the back-area restaurant is pleasantly secluded.
