Classic corporation is still a pioneer in programming.

Lights, camera, action!

Back in the 1920s, an independent British broadcaster was founded to educate, entertain and inform the whole nation, free from commercial pressure and political influence. That broadcaster was the BBC. While distinctly British, the corporation is now world-renowned as a producer of high quality shows. Many of its Radio and TV shows are recorded in front of a live audience, with tickets available to the general public.

Why should I go there?

Being part of a live recording can be great fun – particularly if it’s of a programme you know and like. You can also sign up for free events, or even star in your own show if you’re here for an extended visit. There’s plenty of choice of radio and TV shows to attend, particularly if you book in advance or can be flexible on your dates.

Where is the filming/recording?

BBC Television Centre is based at White City, so a lot of recording takes place there. The location depends on the show – you’ll get clear instructions on where to go to when you book.
