Relax and unwind by the river while listening to tunes from around the world.

Enjoy music on the banks of the Thames – for free!

Not only a great place to sample city’s theatrical delights, the National Theatre is a wonderful spot to chill out with some tunes. Here you can enjoy free concerts in the 'Djanogly Concert Pitch', Mondays to Fridays at 5.45pm and Saturdays at 1pm & 5.45pm. Upbeat ethnic, classy classical or cool jazz, you’re free to get into the groove and listen to a lively mix of music.

Why should I go there?

Listening to free music, at a globally renowned theatre in a great setting along the Thames, you couldn’t really ask for more. If you feel like pushing the, ahem, boat out, you could book for one of the shows in the Olivier, Lyttelton or Cottesloe – all of which are different and have their own unique atmosphere. It’s also possible to do tours of scenic workshops and backstage areas for a small price.

Where is the theatre?

The National Theatre is at South Bank London SE1 9PX. Waterloo rail and tube station is close by.
