World-conquering American chain gives a whole new meaning to the Subway.

Cheap and cheerful sarnies

This American sandwich chain seems to be taking over the world – the company recently opened its 1000th store in Britain. ’Having a Subway’ has become synonymous with getting a cheap, tasty snack. Your sarnies essentially come in two different sizes – a six-inch sub or a twelve-inch sub – also known as a ’footlong’. There are various other options such as salads and wraps and you can choose your bread and fillings from a wide selection.
